Please follow the step-by-step directions below to submit your video certification. We utilize free, easy-to-use video recording software.

You Do Not need a webcam.

Complete this process from the workspace, system, and internet connection you will work from daily. Be sure to show ALL requested screens as described to certify your equipment.

Let's Begin:

Google Chrome is the only browser we use and support. If you do not have Google Chrome, you must first download the software to certify your system. Please use this link to download it.

A Hardwired Connection is required of all agents at all times! The use of wireless, satellite, hot spots, or VPNs is grounds for termination and should never be used. To show your system is hardwired during the video - locate the icon in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen by the clock that displays your internet access. If you are using a hardwired connection, you should see an icon that features a plug/cable in front of a computer screen.
Please be sure to show this symbol during the video.

USB Only Headset - We use only USB headsets to record audio. To verify your sound and ensure your headset is working correctly, use your headset to record your audio during the video certification.

The client has requested a selfie of each applicant wearing their USB headset and showing the plug. (see video certification sample, for example)

Please take a selfie and email it over to yourself.

Drag and open the jpeg to your desktop to display during the recording when prompted in the directions.

**NOTE - Stock photos, store websites, and headsets in unopened packages are unacceptable proof of headset. You must use the USB headset to complete the audio portion of your video submission.

Use of an External mouse and keyboard is mandatory if you are using a laptop. The clicking from a laptop mouse or keyboard will disconnect your caller and interrupt your sound, resulting in dropped calls.

Now let's run the tests to show during the video:

1st - Speedtest - Please use only the site listed below.

Open another tab in Chrome

Enter the website address www.speedtest.net

Click on Go to run your speed test.

Do not close your Speed test results. You will share the results during your video.

2nd - Display your System Information.

To do this, type System Information into the search box next to your windows icon on your toolbar and press enter.

The system information will open. Do not close your system information. You will share the results during your video.

3rd - ScreenPal is a free, easy-to-use video recording software that you will use to record and save your video certification file.

Open another tab and go to www.screenpal.com

Select the record for free button.
Select launch free recorder.
The software will complete a quick download.
Save the software to your desktop for ease of use.
Find and open the download to finish the installation.
The software will open and is now ready to use.
You will get a countdown to begin recording once you click the Red REC button.
The narration button should find your USB headset to use as the recording device.

Click the REC button when you are ready to begin - it will count you down, and you can start with the script and open each part when prompted.

Start by showing:

You have Google Chrome launched and pinned to your taskbar.
Please show that you are using a hardwired Ethernet connection to the internet. (show the icon which is visible in the right-hand corner)
Open the tab with the completed Speed test results and read them out loud.

Next, bring up your System screen and answer the following:

Are you using a desktop or laptop?
If using a laptop, do you have an external mouse & keyboard?
Do you have dual monitors?
What version of Windows are you running?
Who is the manufacturer of your system?
What is your processor speed?
How many GB of usable RAM do you have?

Lastly, please confirm your USB headset.

Bring up the selfie of you and your headset taken earlier.

Click The Pause (II) Button to end your video.

File Type: MP4

File Name: Do not change.

Folder: Click browse, then click on desktop and click ok.

Select Publish.

The video will appear on your desktop.

Go to your desktop and find the file.

Play the recording to ensure you have completed the process, showing all requested screens with loud and clear audio.
